Explore Trinité-sur-Mer on foot: 4 walks within easy reach

Your starting point: the campsite

      • Imagine your walks starting just steps away from your accommodation. From the campsite, you have direct access to the coastal path – that famous GR34 that runs along the Breton coast for 2000 kilometres. No roads to cross, no detours: nature begins where your terrace ends.

The citizen committee and town hall have marked out four circuits that reveal Trinité-sur-Mer from every angle. Very accessible, they blend history, nature and breathtaking views. Each walk is different, depending on the mood of the day.

      • Quiberon Bay, Coastal Path and Hidden Treasures – 11 km

      • The grand crossing in three and a half hours

This walk begins in the heart of the bustling port. You first follow the channel used by all sailing boats and vessels stopping over in Trinité-sur-Mer. The coastal path then takes over – the one that customs officers once walked to monitor maritime activities and salt transport.

At Kerbihan Point, now a protected natural space, lies a memory of this era with the former guardhouse: "the customs officer's house". Perched there, it offers a unique spectacle: the entire Quiberon Bay spreads before you. The entrance to the Morbihan Gulf, the islands of Houat, Hoedic, Belle-Île, Méaban… This is the kind of view that stops time.

You will then follow Kervillen Beach – the one bordering the campsite – before crossing several salt marsh sites, including Kervillen, still in operation. These sensitive natural spaces are home to a wealth of bird species. The ocean in the background, clear stretches of water ahead, a true breath of fresh air.

Little secret: if you prefer to start at the campsite, Kervillen Beach is point 8 on the circuit. Handy.

      • Heart of Village and Megaliths – 7.5 km

      • A two and a half hour stroll through time

Cross the quiet hamlets of the municipality and immerse yourself in authentic Breton atmosphere. Stone farmhouses, typical thatched cottages, washing places and fountains tell the story of days gone by.

Along the way, you'll encounter megaliths: silent witnesses of an even older history. The circuit also unfolds beautiful panoramas over the salt marshes and Kerdual Bay. Calm guaranteed, with just birdsong for company.

Variant starting from the campsite: join the circuit via the protected natural site of Kervillen salt marshes and Poulbert Wood. A detour worth taking.

      • The Old Town in One Gentle Hour

      • To wander through the narrow streets overlooking the harbour

Head up towards the town by taking the typical Breton alleyways. Old houses, old shops, church, fountain and well: every corner is a page of history. Silence reigns far from the buzz of the quays. A real leap through time.

From the campsite: take the secondary entrance and the coastal path at Men Allen or Port Biren beaches. The path follows the channel to Trinité's harbour.

      • Maritime Trinité in Fifty Minutes

      • To feel the life of the port in every breath

Follow the quays of the old fishing and trading port, the pontoons of the pleasure port where the famous sailing yachts and maxi-trimarans of major offshore races are moored. The fish hall, the harbourmaster's office, then the emblematic Kérisper Bridge and former oyster farming spaces before the entrance to Crac'h River.

From here, the view over the port and river is generous. Along the way, beautiful villas, old farms, a few more megaliths. Water, salt, wind: you are at the heart of the maritime story.

From the campsite: take the secondary entrance, then reach Men Allen or Port Biren beaches. Follow the channel along the coastal path.
