All summer long, just a bike ride from Camping de la Baie
From Camping de la Baie, in La Trinité-sur-Mer, summer is best enjoyed on foot or by bike: Kervillen beach 50 m from the entrance, the GR34 right opposite, Carnac and its alignments around 4 km away.
Morning markets, seaside festivals, sound-and-light shows on the megaliths, evenings on the harbours: this corner of southern Brittany has everything you need to fill a holiday without ever getting back in the car.
To help you plan yours, here are the summer highlights, rounded off by the official guides from the tourist offices.

The summer markets
Mornings start at the market.
In La Trinité-sur-Mer, place du Voulien on Tuesdays and Fridays, with the fish market every morning on the harbour.
In Carnac, it's Wednesday and Sunday near Saint-Fiacre, with an organic market on Tuesdays at Carnac-Plage and, in summer, a craft market that comes alive after dark on Thursdays. Lovely baskets to fill just minutes from Camping de la Baie.

Festivals, concerts and evenings out
In La Trinité-sur-Mer as in Carnac, summer is festive.
Down by the harbour, the evenings unfold by the water: classical music and jazz at la Vigie (the cultural centre), an aperitif on the pontoon on 17 July, a grillade party (open-air barbecue) on the 25th.
On 15 August, the harbour comes alive for La Trinité-sur-Mer en fête (the town's summer festival), with oysters, concerts and fireworks at 10.45pm.
In Carnac, the street arts of Place aux mômes (children's street performances) entertain on Tuesday evenings all summer, the Festival du conte (storytelling festival) settles in at the start of August, and the Lumiliz show lights up Saint-Cornély church, in the heart of Carnac, several evenings a week from 3 July to 17 August (free admission).
So many evenings to enjoy, a stone's throw from Camping de la Baie.
Skedanoz, a sound-and-light show on the menhirs
As night falls, the stones of Carnac take on a different face.
To round off summer, the Skedanoz show lights up the Ménec alignments in late August, on the 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th and 26th, at 10pm and 10.45pm.
A magical way to discover the megaliths in a different light, just minutes from Camping de la Baie.

The Carnac alignments, now UNESCO-listed
It's brand new: since summer 2025, the Megaliths of Carnac and the shores of Morbihan have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

A site unique in Europe, 4 km from Camping de la Baie.
