The beaches
Where are the beaches ?
Our priviledged location gives you access to several beaches ; the largest one, the beach of Kervillen is only 50 meters from the campsite main entrance. The beach of Kerbihan is at about 300 meters and is accessible by the other entrance.
Are the beaches supervised ?
The beach of Kervillen is surpervised in high season only. The other surrounding beaches are not supervised.
Are the beaches accessible for people with reduced mobility?
A ramp allows people with reduced mobility to access the beach of Kervillen which has also a seahorse chair (amphibious all-terrain wheelchair). In Carnac, part of the large beach is also equipped to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility.
Are the beaches suitable for young children?
Yes, especially the beach of Kervillen which is very safe for young children.
What are the facilities for young children?
A beach club settles every summer during July and August on the beach of Kervillen. It offers activities every day except Sundays for children from 3 to 12 years old. Children can participate in sports activities, games, and use various trampolines, gantry and bouncy castle ... It also offers swimming lessons in an heated indoor pool.
Are the animals allowed on the beaches ?
Animals are forbidden on the beaches around the campsite. In the area, only the beaches in the town of Plouharnel allow dogs on a leash.
Where can I go fishing ?
The beach of Kervillen in front of the campsite and the beach of Men Du at 2 km are ideal for fishing on foot. You will be able to fish cockles, clams and oysters ...
